Synopsis - In 18th century India, Amir Ali, a notorious leader of the ancient Thug cult, claimed 931 victims, ritually strangling travelers for his devotion to the Goddess Kali.In the present day, Medieval History Professor Abhay Tripathi becomes obsessed with unraveling Amir Ali's motivations. Abhay's search for answers is disrupted when mysterious murders, eerily mirroring the Thug's modus operandi, occur nearby. Abhay suspects his student Varun, who shares his passion for Amir Ali's history. Varun counters with a shocking theory that Abhay is the killer. As the investigation unfolds, Abhay's daughter Aditi and unstable writer Akram Ali, Varun's friend and Abhay's student, are entangled in the mystery.
